EO Charlotte hosts Dr. Nido Qubein, President of High Point University

On February 2, 2023, the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) of Charlotte hosted a successful event featuring Dr. Nido Qubein, the President of High Point University. The event, titled ‘Lead with Purpose, Drive, and Optimism’, attracted entrepreneurs from EO as well as local entrepreneurs eager to gain insights from Dr. Qubein's vast experience in both leadership and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Qubein, a well known motivational speaker and business consultant, shared his knowledge and insights on how to lead in today's rapidly changing business landscape. He emphasized the importance of having a clear vision, setting achievable goals, and having a positive outlook in order to succeed as an entrepreneur.

“Attending the speaking event with Dr. Nido Qubein not only inspired me to be more intentional about growth, it opened my eyes to the opportunities for my teenagers and showed me the path to guide them towards success,” said Susan Rolls, Learning Chair for EO Charlotte.

In addition to the motivational presentation, the event provided a great opportunity for attendees to network with like minded entrepreneurs. They had the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences, build new relationships, and learn from each other. Attendees were also able to connect with potential partners and learn about new business opportunities.

The event was a huge success, and attendees left feeling inspired and motivated to lead their businesses with purpose, drive, and optimism. EO would like to thank Dr. Nido Qubein for his inspiring and thought-provoking speech, as well as all of the attendees for their support and participation. The organization is committed to providing opportunities for entrepreneurs to grow and succeed, and this event was a perfect example of that commitment in action.

”At EO Charlotte, we strive to be leaders in the entrepreneurial community and this time together was no exception. I enjoyed seeing members from other regional EO Chapters connect with our Charlotte members upon arrival for happy hour and other community stakeholders the following morning at an event packed full of inspiration and connection!” Heather Karriker, EO Charlotte Executive Director.
